Sexual misconduct is an unwelcoming brutal behavior, which is forcefully done on the victim against her wish. But, sometimes innocent people are erroneously accused of sexual assault case under the law. It happened with Frank D’Angelo the well-known homegrown auteur in June 2007.
Being born to Sicilian parents Frank confronted many hardships and struggle to achieve the target in his life. Later he became a business entrepreneur, a renowned filmmaker, a musician, a charity fundraiser, and an anchor. His busy schedule and moral ethics to donate charity prove him a man of golden heart. So it is not expected that such ethical person will perform a wrong act of rape or molestation. Several shreds of evidence proved the alleged statement wrong, the judge says former brewery owner 'probably guilty' of sexual assault.
Facts that prove the allegation wrong
Ø The 22-year women went with D’Angelo had consent to visit with him in the hotel room. He was forcefully not taken to the hotel room.
Ø The lady was Frank’s friend for several years and they had sporadic affair, so there is no chance of forceful sex.
Ø News reports proved that they used to have consensual sex.
Ø The 22-year lady had a relation record with rich men and she was always in search of a rich boyfriend.
Ø If it was a rape case then Frank and the girl may not get time to take shower and get ready for the intercourse.
Ø Only a bump on the back is not enough proof to showcase that she was raped because a serious molestation and rape case is a result severe injury to the victim, but the lady was not affected with such injuries.
Hearing of the case
There was no proper evidence against Frank D’Angelo, so the facts and evidence proved the 22-year lady (plaintiff/accuser) wrong and the D’Angelo (defendant) proved innocent and the Ontario court closed the case on behalf of Frank D’Angelo at June 2007 and it was proved that his allegation was wrong.
